Here's our home away from home. It's a wonderful farm house on the edge of ... well, several farms. Lots of bugs, plenty of spiders and wonderful smells. But it's very comfortable and unlike most English homes, it has closets! Now if we could only get water pressure ... This is the back of the house. There is a large patio area just in front of the double doors you can see. There are two willow trees and what we think are two apple trees in the back. There is a very small stream just to the left of the house. | |
This is the front of the house from the left side of the driveway. It doesn't show the two car garage that is almost too small to fit cars in. |

Here's one of the most important rooms in the house - MY KITCHEN!! I'm actually standing in the small dining area in the kitchen to take the picture. The window looks out over the pastures and the lights of the small town of Somersham can be seen at night. That field that Michael took the picture of the back of the house was turned into hay. This is the picture from the living room window. Always wondered how they made those round bales. Well, guess we found out! Yes, we live in the country. This is one side of the driveway with a view of one of the fields across the street. And a very pregnant, very "pleased" Sharon. He loves to ambush me! |

Here's the baby's room. The canopy is definately going to come in handy because there are no screens in England. You see, there are luxury taxes on window screens. (Also on water spickets in the front of the house!) Anyway, it is painted blue so I'm guessing it'll be a girl. We have pictures of the family up behind the rocking chair so the baby can look at them while being fed. |
